The Best of Story Coaching 101

So, I realized that look through all these posts might be a bit tedious. Granted, its not if you are looking for something specific but I want to point out some of the posts that really express the theme of my blog: making it easier to create and write your own stories.

·       How to Transition to 3rd Person Limited – This post describes how to transition to 3rd person limited no matter which POV you’re using. More specifically, if your using 1st person or 2nd person and want to know how to transition the story you’ve already written to 3rd person without deleting anything, then this is the post that you should check out.

·       6 Easy Steps to Get Started Creating a Story – This post is very self-explanatory. In 6 steps I explain how to get started creating your story. It is not in-depth but a good general direction for you to go down if you have ever though about writing your own story but don’t know where to start.

·       Problematic tropes – In this post I explain what some of the most problematic tropes are that writers use and why you, as a writer, should not use them. If looking to make drama in your story (to make it exciting) take a look at this post in order to not make the mistake of using said problematic tropes in your stories. It’s basically a “beware” sign you should really look at.

·       Change to the Basic Story Structure – This post talks about the basic story structure you were taught in English class and how you do not have to stick to it. In fact, there are 7 story structures you could use. Some of them should be used for specific stories but in general, it’s a good way to change up how you write your story. If you’re looking for new and inventive ways to change up the format of your story, I recommend looking at this post. Plus, at the very end there is a link to the rest of the 7 story structures if you want to know more about them.
